Introducing Clinton Place: a new hub for activity, community and local experiences
Wave Active is excited to introduce Clinton Place — a new digital-first community and marketing hub designed to connect residents and visitors with local activities, services and experiences.
Located in the heart of the community, Clinton Place has been created to help people discover more of what is happening locally, from sport and physical activity to wellbeing opportunities, tourism experiences and community services. It brings everything together in one place, making it easier for people to explore what is available and find new ways to get involved.
Connecting You to Local Opportunities
Clinton Place is not a traditional leisure centre or tourist information point. Instead, it is a digital-led discovery hub, a marketing platform for local experiences, and a community connection point. The aim is to inspire people first — helping them see what is on offer locally and encouraging them to be active, explore more, and feel part of the community.
The hub will showcase a wide range of opportunities, including:
- local activity providers such as bike hire, water sports and fitness
- community organisations and services
- tourism and things to do in the area
- Wave Active facilities, memberships, programmes and opportunities.
Visitors to Clinton Place will be able to explore activities and services, find inspiration for things to do, connect directly with providers, and discover opportunities to be active and engaged. Over time, the vision is for Clinton Place to grow even further, with potential to include booking and referral pathways, tourism planning, partner campaigns and additional digital content.
As well as increasing the visibility of Wave Active, Clinton Place has been designed to support local partners and help build a stronger community network. It will shine a light on local businesses, sports clubs, activity providers and wellbeing services, creating a space where people can find out more about what is available in Seaford and the surrounding area.

The launch of Clinton Place will begin with a light-touch community moment, bringing together local businesses and residents, followed by an open invitation to explore the space and digital platform.
On the day, you’ll be able to:
- take a look around the new Clinton Place space
- explore local activities, services and opportunities
- meet some of the people behind local clubs and organisations
- find inspiration for things to do in your community
